OK - fair enough, though take a look at my reply for 6 with MySQL - removing a ";" - i.e. a semicolon, changes the response.
As for Interbase, I'm fairly sure that you could get whatever response you were looking for if you wrote your sql correctly - Interbase seems to think that it is a stickler for conforming to the SQL standards.
