Q: Tools for building Logical Data Model

My favourite is PowerDesigner's Data Architect, which will do what you want.
Right now I am using ERWin, (which will also do what you want), which is my client's standard - it's OK but I prefer the diagrams from Data Architect - you can see over 70 examples listed on this page :-
