consider memory buffer contains M blocks.



why in "block nested loop join", M-2 outer-loop blocks are read while
one inner-loop block is read? what is M-2 inner-loop blocks are read
and one outer-loop block is read? How does the total # of block
accesses is minimized for the first case.
