iNSTALLATION PROBLEM......Please help....i'm a newby

I installed oracle designer 6.0.1 on my workstation on its own but I just can't logon. Should I install some software first for this to work? Is there a default username and password? It says something about "can't find DNS"... Received on Fri Mar 16 2001 - 14:04:05 CST
