Re: SQL, Space, and Time

Thanks for the suggstions both here and by email. My copy of the Snodgrass book is well read (some sections several times). It would be nice if there were some standard extentions to SQL for both spatial and temporal data types and operators. Right now all I see is vendor-specific implementations. This is an area where standards would have a lot of benefit for data analysts and other data or information consumers.
