Home -> Community -> Usenet -> comp.databases.theory -> Looking for good DB Design Book
Hi folks,
I'm looking for book recommendations on relational DB design. I've seen and read some of the threads where "Analysis Patters", and "Design Patterns" were recommended. I've read the reviews and I think I'm looking for something at a more introductory level. I've heard of "norms" and "normalization" but I certainly don't have a good a idea of what either is in concept or practice.
Some recommendations for a beginner/intermediate in practical terms, but looking for a solid grounding to build on quickly...
Thanks in advance, and please send me responses via email as I am not a frequent reader of the newsgroup (but I sense that changing rapidly) :)
Henrik :)
