Has anyone upgraded from 8.0.5 to 10g without using the updated
10g OCI calls?
Page 1-18 of the Programmer's Guide for 10g states that the old ones will still work (back to 7.x), at least for now.
In the usual programmer's Time Crunch, I would really like to give it a shot with the existing routines, then deal with the new stuff later.
