Jim,
This is a commercial software product, and history shows that the average customer gets very upset if the schema is changed from previous version or if any if accessive manual database administration is involved. In this appliction there can be many databases involved, and all need to exchange data. This would require a creation of N^2 database links - something we are trying to avoid.
