Quick guide to importing/exporting database

Hello, as my knowledge of Oracle is basically zero I was hoping someone here could give as concise an answer to the following problem. I need to create a copy of an exported database schema as a new database on the same server. I already have the export file and was wondering how to import this as a new schema ?
