Unable to revoke privileges from a user

Some user accounts have been created some time ago and we have just found out that they were given privileges they should not have. However, I have no idea which account was used to create them and when I use a DBA account to revoke these privileges I get the following message: "ORA-01927: cannot REVOKE privileges you did not grant"

Any idea how to revoke these accesses? Received on Thu Mar 04 2004 - 16:35:06 CST
