The solution turned out to be simple. All I did was change the code to the following:

 CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW AllMedics AS

 	SELECT * FROM Medic m, Employee e
 	WHERE e.EmployeeID = m.MedicID AND
* 		e.DateFinished IS NULL;
