Hi,

We are planning to host our database on Linux. Can any one share experiences on the following aspects:

Is RAID5 better or RAID 0 or 1 better ? (we have thosuands of queries running per day)

Is hardware disk controller better or LVM better?

any particular machine configuration to consider Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
