jrew.rpt Question

I understand that jrew.rpt is a log file that can grow to a relatively large file size. I also understand that it can be deleted with little effect.

But what can I do to fix the errors that are being written to this file... it can't be healthy or efficient to have this going on incessantly.

The only thing that may be out of the ordinary is the "-nojit" parameter. I have invoked parameter that on installations in the past when the installer failed on a Pentium 4. But this is not a Pentium 4 box so I don't think i would used it. (Oracle 8.1.7)

there does not seem to be much on Metalink other than saying that it ok to delete the file.
