Mark Fasheh from Oracle's Linux Development Team and Todd Trichler from Oracle's "Oracle Technology Network" (OTN) visited the Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD) last night.

Mark talked about OCFS, the Oracle Clustering File System kernel module for Linux that Oracle is developing, and has released as Open Source software under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Meeting minutes are online. (Mostly club business)

Photos from the meeting are up, as well:

Finally, Mark's slides are online. They're currently only available in StarOffice presentation software format. Hopefully we'll get them up in HTML soon, too:

Enjoy!
