ChangeGroup proudly announces the immediate availability of ChangeGroup PL/SQL Server Pages (CGPSP) 2.0.
Develop state-of-the-art Web applications and easily put your existing Oracle PL/SQL resources, business logic and source code into work on your Web site with CGPSP from ChangeGroup.

"Based on valuable customer feedback we have significantly enhanced CGPSP
over the last year. Version 2 provides development of new and conversion of existing PL/SQL applications to the Web with minimal effort", says Product Architect at ChangeGroup, Finn Ellebęk Nielsen.

The new version of the ChangeGroup product focuses on 100% integration with market leading HTML editors such as Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft FrontPage. Little or no Web development expertise is required to do PL/SQL Web development with CGPSP.

An intuitive collaborative development environment ensures that Web designers and PL/SQL developers can now work closely together to get visible results and gain experience with a working system early in the development process.

"We wanted to support the agile and extreme programming paradigms in the
Oracle world with this product".

CGPSP generates dynamic content in any text-based output format such as HTML, XML, PDF, RTF, SVG and WML (WAP). It has pixel-level control over the output. Being easy to use, supports automation and has a customizable code generation engine it is an indispensable tool for anyone developing Oracle applications for the Web. Project facilities such as make, rebuild, install script generation, optional automatic security setup (synonyms and grants), and much more are all an integral part of the product.

The most groundbreaking new feature in CGPSP version 2 is the ability to edit PL/SQL Server Pages with live data and thereby see not only the underlying HTML, but also live data exactly as it will appear on the Web site. This feature is supported in Macromedia Dreamweaver's Live Data View mode and will be considered in other HTML editors as they support it. In total, almost 30 new features have been added to this version.

"Using the highly adaptable and integratable CGPSP product from ChangeGroup
transcends the PL/SQL programmers into a world previously only open to JSP and ASP programmers".
