Quest Software has a product called toad that we use for code
development.
Lecco Technology has a prodcut called sqlexpert that we use for sql
tuning.
sqlexpert can now be used for code development but our developers still like toad better for that. When we evaluated sqlexpert and toad for tuning in 2000, we found that sqlexpert could tune sql that toad could not. They may be equal now, I don't know.

I know that toad can find object dependencies. I'm not sure what your looking for other than using sqlplus and selecting from one database and using minus to select from another database. Received on Thu Mar 06 2003 - 02:59:40 CET
