I am trying to run the analyze/index, and because of the temp space is
unextendable, the processes are hanging. I stopped analyze/index the
processes and try to shutdown and startup the database. The shutdown
process is hanging as well, so I manually killed all of the processes
belonged to that database. Now, I try to startup the database, the
message said 'ORA-01081: Cannot start already running ORACLE. Shut it
down first.' but when I shut down the database, the message said
'ORA-1034: ORACLE not availble'.
I don't want to blow away the database and rebuild it. Is there any
other way that I can save/restore it????
Thanks so much.
