Starting iFS from command prompt

Whenever I run "ifslaunchnode" from a command prompt it starts the
node and sits there never to return.
Am I missing something - I would like to be able to launch the domain
controller without starting a new command prompt!
(I am using Oracle 9.0.1 DB, 9.2.0 AS & iFS on W2K SP2)
I am sure it is probably something simple but I can't see it!
