Interoperability of 32-bit and 64-bit client/server

Hi,



I would like to find out the interoperability of 32-bit  
and 64-bit Oracle client/server.  I would expect:



    
  
  1.   32-bit client can connect to 32-bit server
  
  2.   64-bit client can connect to 64-bit server






But what about cross connection?



3) can 32-bit client connect to 64-bit server?
4) can 64-bit client connect to 32-bit server?



Is there any restriction (such as client version, server
version, platform)?  



I was browsing Oracle site and could not find the info.
