As part of regular Oracle server install, you will see more then one
service beginning with "Oracle..." + your database will have a service
like OracleService<SID>.
Goto registry and see if key HKLM\Software\Oracle exists. If the key
does not exist or you don't see any "Oracle..." services, then you
need to install Oracle before trying to back it up.
