OK, once again:

If I type in TOAD or SQLPLus:

    select count(*) from tablename;

I will receive NO message. TOAD or SQLPlus gives no return and after a while I have to interupt the program. Could it be, that the table is corrupt or something similar? If yes, how can I rebuild it without import?

It could be right that I be a newbie but not stupid!
