Hi,

   A couple of recommendations

  • Expert one on one (Tom Kyte) - Excellent, has info for both dba and developer but focuses a little more on development.
  • Practical Oracle 8i: Build effecient Databases (Jonathan Lewis) - Also a book, focused more on the dba side.
