The Point I want to say is, the extra "and ...." clause doesn't apply to the subset "where a.deptno = b.deptno(+)". You can see the difference between the first sql and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th sql. Received on Fri Nov 01 2002 - 11:33:07 CET
