Problem while installing Oracle1.1.16 in windows2000Pro machine.

Hai friends,
When I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.16 in my windows2000Pro box,
Its asking for jre1.2.2 or higher version. But one of my friend said
that it will automatically installs all the relavent software while we
installing Oracle.
But in my case its asking for jre. Any help??????
I am verymuch thankful to you,if anyone of you solve my problem.
