You probably have Oracle Applications v10.7. In this case you have Oracle Server 8.0.5 (or later release of 8.0), Oracle client 8.0.5, which might be in the same path as server. For 11.0.3 you can actually live with 8.0.5, but it was desupported, so you need to upgrade to 8.1.7. At the same time, you need separate Oracle client home, with Oracle client version 8.0.6.

Two comments.

  1. It's good to know all Oracle software you are working with, not server side only.
  2. Find Oracle Applications 11.0.3 documentation and read Administration Manual. It's urgent. You need to know what is running on your Oracle Server.
