No, these should both be there. The first automatically shuts Oracle down just before you shutdown the server, the second starts it. Re the OracleAutoStartServiceSID, I do not have that in my list of services. Are your Oracle..TNSListener and OracleServiceSID services set to start automatically? And are they set to use the LocalSystem account or a specific user still? I would try that to remove any conflicts with username/password issues at the OS and then set them back if necessary after resolving the problems. What are the errors you are recieving? Is it a password conflict with an OS user or an Oracle and where is the problem reported--Event Viewer or alert log? Let me know and we'll keep at it. Thanks.
