You are not really saying much about what your problem is. Does your browser connect to a web server that connects to Java that connects to an EJB that connects to BC4J that connects to the database?

Are you just running forms?

JDK 1.4 on Windows and 1.4.1 on Linux are considerable faster than their relevant predessors.

Which architecture are you attempting to run?
