Increasing SHARED_POOL_SIZE bring down my SQL library cache miss ratio ???

Guys,



i am on 8.1.6/win2k.



Quest's TOAD shows that my SQL library cache miss ratio is > 40 % 
which is not desirable ? 



what should be the value of this ?



DB size is 13GB.



The size of SGA is 1.25 GB


The split up of SGA is 


		BUFFER CACHE 	800 MB
		SHARED POOL  	270 MB
		JAVA POOL    	20 MB
		LARGE POOL   	140 MB






should i increase my SHARED_POOL_SIZE now ?
if so , how do i do that ?


will increasing SHARED_POOL_SIZE bring down my SQL library cache miss ratio ?



any precautions to be taken b4 doing that ?
