Locate Which Tables Contain String?

Is there a way to perform a query which will return what tables contain a particular string value in Oracle 8i? I am an Oracle newbie and am trying to find what table out of 527 is storing a particular value. Thanks for any help! Received on Wed Jun 12 2002 - 22:34:59 CEST
