Running Report Using the Predefined Grid Template

Hi Folks,

        I have designed a report in Developer 2000 Report Builder. It’s a Group Above Report with the predefined template of Cyan Grid. The report fetches columns from two tables having a master-detail relationship. The master table has four columns and I have chosen these four columns as the group fields. The detail table consists of 5 columns and several records. After defining the necessary details in the wizard, when I run the report it fetches the required fields but the group fields which are suppose to be four columns are attached with the columns from the detail table and only one filed is displayed as a group field. This always happens whenever I choose the Grid template style.

        On the other hand if I choose some other template including draft the group fields are displayed correctly. Why it is like this? Do I need to make some more changes in the Grid template report?
