Hi all,

I am working on ORACLE 8.0.3.0.6 on Novell 5.0. Presently  iam facing the serious problem that when iam doing oraload  and then orastart instead of starting up the oracle database  it is showing the error
   oracle database connected.
ora-00449 -- Background process DBWR, unexpectedly terminated

                with error ora-01092

ora-01092 -- Oracle instance terminated. Disconnection forced  and the database server is not getting up.

when i checked the orclDBWR.trc ( my oracle sid is ORCL ) i  found that it is showing.

Oracle SID: ORCL
Instance name: ORCL
Redo thread mounted by this instance: 1
Oracle process number: 3
pid: 191

And so i have checked the orclLGWR.trc file in which it has a lot of  junk /addresses written and says internal programming error
