hi,
I am new to the group and Oracle as well.
try:
create user {username}
identified by {password};
you will also need to alter a tablespace somewhere but i forgot what the exact "ALTER" syntax and space are.
i have links to PL/SQL docs on another PC.... will post them here when i find them .... they help a great deal.
