If all you really want is s/w to serve JSP/servlets, then you can get a free copy of the Orion server; which is EXACTLY the same s/w are comes with 9iAS.
What you are really paying for when it comes to 9iAS, is Forms60 server, Reports60 server, Portal, & WebCache. If you don't care about having & using any or all of these then ignore 9iAS and just use the Public Domain s/w of your choice. Received on Thu May 16 2002 - 02:55:12 CEST
