Oracle 9i + Real Application Cluster

Dear All,
I'm trying to find out if people have some good 'thumbs up' stories or some real scary monster stories regarding the use of Oracle 9i and/or Real Application Cluster in the e-commerce enviroment.
Basically we're running an ASP set up with several client sites being serviced through one Oracle database running on Oracle 8i on a 4 processor 4Gb memory Sun E450.
We're planning to run Oracle 9i RAC on two E450's with 3 processors each and 4Gb of memory on each (our datbase load is set to increase significantly as well).
Has anyone any bad stories about what we're trying to do?
I know this isn't a 'fun' technical problem to solve for you guys but your experience/experiences would be much appreciated.
