Dear all,

I installed Oracle 9i as local administrator on a Win 2000 SP2 Advanced Server(a memeber server) without problem.

After installation, I add my Domain account on the Win 2000 server in Administrators and ORA_DBA groups.

Then I login this server with my domian account and run sqlplus "/ as sysdba",I simply can't login and error message is "ORA-01041 internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist". If I login as local Administrator , I can run the same command without any error.

I aslo tried to login in Oracle with sys account , this command is : sqlplus "sys/change_on_install as sysdba", I got the same ORA-01041 error. Again, If I login as local Administrator , I can run the same command without any error.

Any ideas ??
