Hello!
We're using Oracle 8i (8.1.7) under Solaris 8. When we stablish a DB
connection from a client (i.e. DBA Studio) and the connection is idle
for a time, the connection is closed. I've checked all parameters in
the users profiles and sqlnet.ora and the sessions should be
unlimited, so I suspect that Solaris is closing the socket.
I tried to open a telnet session and the problem is the same. But I
don't know if Solaris 8 has some parameters to manage network
connections. Does anybody know what can I check or do to solve this
problem?
Thanks in advance!
