Oracle/Access link problem

We use Access97, Windows98, connected to an Oracle 8.1.5 database via odbc (Oraacle's 8.0.6 driver, for compatibility with a separate database). We have used this successfully for years, with this particular combination of versions for several months.
We have ONE user who is getting faulty data returned; for example, on one table, there is a row of data returned 12 times (the row exists once in the Oracle server table, and other users only see 1 row).
I have tested ODBC, relinked the table, reinstalled Access97, reinstalled Office97, reconfigured the ODBC setup (everything short of reinstalling Windows). The problem still persists.
