ORA-00230: operation disallowed: snapshot controlfile enqueue unava ilable
Cause: The attempted operation cannot be executed at this time beca use another process currently holds the snapshot controlfile enqueu e.
Action: Retry the operation after the concurrent operation that is holding the snapshot controlfile enqueue terminates

This is the archive log backup. The last online backup was still running, but hanging as it has not updated the log since 19:43 yesterday. The online job was holding a lock on the snapshot controlfile. Had to kill it at the oracle level and the unix level. I can now connect successfully. Please rerun the archive job if possible.

Question: How and what cmds would i need to do ? Our Dba is off at the mo, and I need to re-run the backup.
