Currently we are negotiating licensing scheme with oracle corp and was wondering what are my options.
We are client server shop with few hundred users running oracle db on Hp-box N class box with 8 cpus. My OLTP has app server involved and users do not translate into oracle named users/account on database and connect via web/app server. We see 100 sessions from application owners via app server.
On DW environment we have another few hundred users on DB Server (HP-UX 8 CPU, 32 Gig RAM etc). There is some overlap b/w oltp and rdw users.
Any feedback would be helpful.
