oracle 8.1.7 on solaris 2.8

we are planning to upgrade our servers from 8.1.6/2.7 to 8.1.7/2.8. so any gotchas that i need to be aware of in respect to configuration or database preformance issues or whatever!!!

any suggestions would be appreciated.
