I'm new to database programming and has a question as follows:

If I connect a postgresql database using ODBC under Windows. I need to allow user to update tables. If a user is allowed to add/update a table in a program. Then the user can also change content of each cell of the tables without interact with the program which provide business rules. In such case, how to prevent user change content of tables directly and at the same time user can input data via program. Received on Wed Jan 16 2002 - 19:51:52 CET
