Connecting To Oracle Server Using A Thin driver

I am unable connect to the Oracle Database Using a Thin Driver from My Application. I am Using Weblogics6.0 and and Java as my platform.I am able to connect to the same server using a JDBC:ODBC Bridge Driver, but I have some technical problem which are restricting me from using the JDBC:ODBC Driver.Please let me if we need to configure anything in the Database to let the Thin Driver work.
