The point is it builds simple db's for you, without having to be a SQL god. Great way to get Oracle up and running with minimum fuss. If you are going to do mulit threaded servers on UNIX, you should be doing it by hand anyway.

the DBCA is getting better - so maybe eventually it will be smart enough for everything you want. (shame on the DBCA developers for not including multi threading on Tru64 Unix in their wizard! what were they thinking, I mean that's such a common thing on such a common platform...)
