Jova,
I took classes in Xincon (xincon.com) institute in New Jersey, they are also in NYC. It was kind of training you took, but at least it helps you to understand problems and you have to study at home, you cannot learn it all in school, it would cost you 1000's of $$. With their help i'll be able to pass all cert tests in 12 months. I started last October, passed 4 tests by April, took brake since then :) and now im studying for last test. Without xincon, i would be studying for this more that 2 years, which is no good. So it's good to take some cheaper courses, just to get oriented and learn details yourself. Worked for me!
But watch, Oracle DBA8 certification is expiring on 3/1/2002, so go for 8i courses.
Good luck!
