Database Links

I have two databases. One Oracle 8i v8.1.7 running on openVMS and one Oracle 7.3.5 running on NT. Both databases are setup with the distributed database option. I have created a database link on the OpenVMS system to the NT system. When I run SQLPLUS I can use the database link to view the tables on the the NT system.

I have a trigger on the VMS system which I want to use to update the NT tables. I get a ORA-02019 error when the PL/SQL code runs.

Anyone have any ideas.
