  1. Installation of XSU (in RedHat Linux 7.1 for Oracle 8.1.7)

If XSU has not been installed in an Oracle Installation, how to do it later?
Has it to be downloaded from otn?
runinstaller has to be used?
The shell script needs to be run to bind to the db?

2. Speed of bulk XML data Import using Oracle tools vis-a-vis using SQL*Loader and CSV files.

Anybody using Oracle XML tools (like XSU) for bulk data import from XMLs?
Is this feasible?
How does this compare with SQL*Loader (using CSVs) in terms of performance?

As per docs, the db inserts are done line by line (after XML parsing) and this can be batched if needed, but there is no mention of using for bulk import, by bypassing RBS (like in SQL*Loader).

TIA. -
