Copying BLOB's out of Oracle w/ Access 97

I'm using Access 97 and Oracle 7.3.
I'm trying to copy blobs out of Oracle w/ Access using the GetChunk method.
I have several types of blobs in the Oracle DB. Some are .doc, some are
.xls, some are .dwg, and more.
This particular one I'm trying is a .doc file.
I can copy the blob out and name it testfile.doc, and open the file. What I
see in the file, though, is not correct. A sample of what I see is

It looks like I'm missing something. Maybe a conversion from Binary to ASCII??? Not sure if that's even possible.
