Well, I tried to install 9iAS on Red Hat 7.1 and failed. Once 6.2 was installed, no problem.
Also, 9iAS on Win2K behaves strange: the automatic reboot (as under NT 4) doesn't work,
you'll have to do it manually. After that, there is absolutely no indication for at least
half an hour that the installer has restarted and is finishing the installation...

And... have you ever tried to de-install something with the UI? Don't! All dependencies
installed will be deinstalled, too (e.g. remove network protocol adapter, and your database
will be gone, too).
Oracle: dependencies work one way, not two!
