WinNT and Win2000 with Oracle

Hopefully this is a simple question. Does anyone know of any difference in using Oracle Server 8.1.7 between NT4 and Win2000 - are we supposed to use the same version and install CD on both operating systems? After all, they tell us that 2000 is "built on NT technology".
