i'm about to build a new web app. i've traditionally done it the "old-fashioned" way where you build the app in basically, 3 layerspresentation  (servlet/jsp), business objects (standalone java, non-ejb entities) and a data access layer that makes jdbc calls to oracle.

so now i've been reading the various oracle docs and am toying with the idea of using oracle with ejb's. i still would prefer to use an apache/tomcat equivalent, and use oracle's ejb container. i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. reading all the various oracle documentation on java development has confused me as to how the logical architecture might look like, especially the bit in the jdbc dev guide about the jdbc 2.0 datasource. any ideas?
